Beer is a serious matter and there has never been a more exciting time to be involved in the industry.
As the Brand Manager for our Young’s and Brakspear beer brands, you will own the strategic positioning of these iconic brands, be the creative and commercial driving force behind them, working with internal and external stakeholders to excite our customers.
The location for this role is flexible however there with be a requirement to travel to other Marston's brewery sites and customer locations across the UK.

Job Role and Responsibilities:

• Manage market and brand strategy – in conjunction with the brand license owners.
• Grow share of wallet – working with sales teams identify and maximise opportunities.
• Acquire new customers through campaign activities, consumer consideration and market awareness.
• Building brand awareness through sponsorships, partnerships and events.
• Working with the marketing manager and insights team to develop NPD and activate consumer insights.
• Deliver a compelling marketing communication platform across digital, traditional media and social media.
• Managing agencies, budgets and overall brand performance.

Profile of the Ideal Applicant:

• Have a passion for beer and the drinks industry.
• Commercially aware.
• Excellent project management, comfortable with short deadlines and time pressure.
• Comfortable presenting at board or bar level.
• Attention to detail but creative in planning.
• A collaborator.
• Knowledge and understanding of the various Marston’s brands and the trading area that the individual brands dominate.
