We’re recruiting for a Marketing Executive in our pubs division working within an area that focuses on community pubs with a fun and vibrant atmosphere. We’re looking for a self-starter who is innovative, has bags of energy and is eager to get stuck in. You will be involved in all aspects of the marketing mix ensuring we deliver great campaigns; retaining existing and attracting new customers.

You’ll need to be able to create innovative solutions, whilst getting involved in all aspects of the marketing mix. Head office is in Wolverhampton but we’re committed to spending time in our pubs so there are loads of opportunities to get out and about across the country.

Reporting to a Marketing Manager, this is a great opportunity for someone with experience in retail or hospitality marketing to support with the designing of marketing plans and delivering best in class campaigns.



You will be responsible for:

  • Assisting on the creation of the annual marketing plan to support the direction of the business and to differentiate our pubs in the market. You’ll be hands on with all parts of the plan from start to finish: idea generation, briefing agencies, print requirements, digital campaigns, pub briefings, budget management and reporting

  • Carrying out market and customer research to test concepts and make sure you keep abreast of innovation

  • Acting as the voice of the customer to ensure that the offer is relevant to them and meets their needs

  • Ensuring systems and processes are adhered to in the marketing team.
  • Pick up ad-hoc projects to support the wider team.
  • To help co-ordinate key marketing activities and events.



  • Will have strong attention to detail and planning abilities

  • You’re passionate about customer experience and put it at the heart of everything that you do

  • You’ll be joining a busy team and so excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage several projects at once will be vital

  • Be knowledgeable about sports fixtures and have a real passion for all things sports related (not essential but desirable)

  • A team player, someone who enjoys working collaboratively with different groups of people across different parts of the business within a fast paced environment

  • A confident communicator happy to talk to everyone from pub teams to senior managers and able to handle objections and setbacks positively

  • You’ll be degree educated (or equivalent) with relevant marketing experience. Experience in the pub industry or similar will be beneficial, but not essential

  • You’ll need a full British driving license and of course we need you to be able to find your way around a computer and be confident using Microsoft Office

  • And finally (and we’re sure you already are if you’ve read this far) you must be passionate about both marketing and wanting to work in the pub industry
