Retail Systems Implementation Trainer – National Field Based

Midlands based with ability to travel nationwide

Fixed Term Contract – until June 2020

Our new unique EPoS system has arrived and we are recruiting to expand our brilliant existing team and support the roll-out of the new system.

This role will give you the opportunity to work closely with our pub managers & team members, delivering training and overseeing the successful integration of the new system across our well established and award winning pub estate.

This role will not only enable you to harness your training skills, but give you the chance to work on the front line of one of the biggest projects Marston’s has undertaken – an exciting time to join the project!

Job Role:

  • Bring training to life, engaging our teams when delivering ‘On-Site Training’ for the new EPoS system.
  • Inspiring and liaising with GM’s to ensure their site is business ready & their teams are prepared for ‘Go-Live’.
  • Coaching and supporting our pubs on ‘Go-Live’ day offering ‘simple solutions’ to enable our team members to feel at ease with the new systems.
  • Owning the implementation of ‘Go-Live’ day to ensure all parties are able to accomplish their objectives with minimal disruption to trade.
  • Delivering training of new policies and procedures.
  • Provide on-going coaching  and deal with any training issues or queries from managers and provide remote solutions as necessary over the phone or email.
  • Identify sites with additional training needs and ensure all team members feel confident to carry out their roles effectively.
  • Liaising and interacting effectively with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure the ‘Go-Live’ day runs as efficiently as possible.

Profile of the Ideal Candidate:

  • Proven experience in the hospitality / retail industry, with an appetite for developing people at all levels.
  • Can motivate and inspire high performance.
  • Highly organised and able to multi task with excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Good understanding of stock systems and cash controls with problem solving experience.
  • Confident and influential, with the ability to get things done.
  • Communication is key! - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a passion for customer service.
  • Experience of delivering training to individuals and / or groups.
  • General IT skills – Intermediate level desired but not essential as training will be provided.
  • Able to travel nationwide throughout our large estate - Full UK driving license is essential.
