Overview

Due to a sensational period of growth we are now looking for a Front of House Skills Trainer to join the Marston’s Training Team, to help support the development of training provisions across our estate.

We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about people development, personally driven and someone who strives for greatness. In this role you will be involved in a wide variety of activities including the development and execution of training material for our pub teams, ranging from investment training, classroom based delivery and one to one development. You should enjoy a customer based role and thrive on building relationships within teams, be a confident public speaker and a natural coach.

The Role Responsibilities

  • Bringing training to life by engaging with our teams, delivering onsite training.
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective training and development of the estate
  • Develop, implement and execute a variety of training provisions for Operators and team members to aid fantastic guest service and product knowledge across the estate
  • Division and delivery of investment training exercises and to be able to support the teams post opening through coaching
  • Developing and presenting workshops that are classroom based training for between 15-25 delegates at a time.
  • Working closely with other team members, pub teams and operational teams to build long lasting relationships, adding value to our company.
  • To identify the delivery of bespoke training and coaching of individual team members.
  • Delivery of our induction programme to all new on boarding retailers

  • Quick thinking and versatile
  • Proven experience in hospitality/retail industry
  • Can motivate and inspire high performers and engage with those who need further support
  • Good understanding of all Microsoft packages
  • Confident in presenting to small and large groups of delegates.
  • Great communication skills, interpersonal skills and a passion for customer service.
  • Able to travel nationwide and has access to own vehicle
