We’re looking for a Digital Marketing Executive to join the digital team within the Pubs & Inns part of Marston’s PLC on a 6 months fixed term contract.

Following the appointment of our dedicated team at the beginning of 2015, we have invested in exciting new platforms, channels and tools as part of an ambitious strategy and with so much going on, we need some help! As such we are looking for someone with a great work ethic, can hit the ground running, thrives on being a part of wider decision making and projects and enjoys a fun sociable environment.

The digital team is responsible for driving new and existing customers into our 1500 pubs through an online multi-channel approach. We pride ourselves on providing a relevant and personalised experience for all our customers which in turn drives visits and increased spend.

 

What you’ll be doing:

The Digital Marketing Executive role will cover the following key areas:

  • Provide invaluable support to the Digital Marketing Manager in all aspects of the digital marketing mix
  • Supporting the Digital Marketing Manager in delivering exciting and engaging digital campaigns across a number of channels including social, pub websites, paid advertising, voucher sites and email
  • Working with our digital agencies to create campaign plans and assets, gaining approval from key stakeholders and ensuring campaigns run on time.
  • Attending photography sessions both on location and in studio.
  • Keeping our pub and hotel websites up to date including correct menu information, offers and promotional pages.
  • Filling in campaign reports and trackers
  • Understanding and monitoring market trends and competitor activity

What you’ll need:

  • Digital Marketing Qualification.
  • Must be a Digital Evangelist.Comfortable around all key platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Google and Trip Advisor.
  • A self-starter and have the ability to work under time pressure.
  • Creativity and the ability to bring ideas to life.
  • A great people person. They should be able to form good working relationships quickly with the brand marketing teams, drinks and menu development, operations and the pub teams.
  • The candidate will need to be available as soon as possible

 

Remuneration:

  • Fixed Term Contract – 6 Months with a view to possibly extending to 12 months
  • Based on a salary of £20,000 per annum
  • IT equipment will be provided such as a laptop and mobile phone    

Location:

You will be an agile worker so it is about basing yourself where you need to be to get the job done.  You will be required to work 3 days a week with the Marston’s team. This can be within Head Office, out in trade or supporting production such as on location doing photography or filming. Our new Marston’s head office is based in Wolverhampton, and ideally we like our team to be in our offices a minimum of one day a week, particularly at the start of the week when most of our internal meetings take place. No week is the same as the last!
